People have portraits taken for so many reasons, to celebrate an occasion, to give as a gift to someone they love or to capture a moment in time.
I love the diversity of portrait photography, no two sessions are ever the same and it makes me happy to know that I am capturing a little bit of history that will be passed though generations.
Whether we are in a studio or on location, my sessions are light hearted, full of laughter and fun. I am easy going, friendly person who quickly put the most unwilling of subjects at ease. I have many years of experience to get the best out of you.
I am so lucky to see tiny babies develop into little people and all the fun that that they bring. I get to watch families grow and develop. I love to capture the relationships between people, mother and child, husband and wife, brother and sister.
Family is a huge part of my life and I can’t wait to capture some beautiful photographs of yours.
Studio Sessions take place on the southside of Edinburgh, the large, light, modern space is somewhere you can feel at home. With a range of backgrounds and lighting equipment I have everything I need to capture a variety of beautiful portraits. Just because we are inside doesn’t mean the images have to be stuffy and boring, whether you are looking for something classic on contemporary the most important thing to me is to show your personalities and to have some fun.
Location sessions can be anywhere you like, your home, the beach, park, your favourite cafe, my only restriction is the weather, but a little rain never hurt anyone. Location shoots can often be more about telling a story, capturing children playing and exploring.
